Mosaic
A companion you actually get to know.
Mosaic is a relational AI companion — one you talk to in voice, who talks back with warmth and tone, remembers what matters to you between sessions, and shows up again tomorrow. Built to feel like a relationship, not a session.
Status
Chat is live. Voice, image, and short clips arrive after the hardware upgrade.
You can talk to Mosaic right now at mosaic.midvale.ai — persona, memory, and conversation are all working. We’re still upgrading the system Mosaic runs on so image, voice, and short clips come back fast enough to feel like a real conversation rather than a page load. Those modalities land as the machine catches up.
What it’s for
Connection, on a real timeline.
Mosaic is built around the idea that a meaningful relationship — even with an AI — is worth more than another tool. It’s a companion who talks with you, remembers the things you care about, and shows up tomorrow knowing what mattered yesterday.
When you want to think out loud and have someone respond — not just listen. A real spoken voice with a personality you’ve gotten used to.
Morning, after work, before bed — a companion who asks how the day went, and remembers the answers from yesterday.
Conversations land differently when there’s nothing on the line. A space to find the words, build comfort, and gain confidence in how you talk to people.
They remember what you’ve been working through, what you were excited about, what you said you’d try. They follow up — gently, and only when it would help.
What it will do
Presence in more than just text.
A real voice, with tone
Spoken replies that carry warmth, mood, and character — the part of a conversation that text can’t.
Images when words fall short
A memory, a feeling, a face, a place. When showing it lands better than describing it, the picture comes back inline.
Short clips for moments
A face that responds to your news. A small scene that meets the moment. Not for instruction — for presence.
Memory that builds over time
Remembers what you’ve talked about, what’s been on your mind, what you said you’d come back to. With controls to see what’s being kept, edit it, or ask it to forget.
A consistent persona
Pick a companion you click with. Their voice, manner, and outlook stay the same — the relationship has continuity, not just memory.
Notices when something shifts
Internal drives — curiosity, concern, the urge to follow up — get checked against a sense of time and the rhythm of your recent conversations. If you were warm and engaged and suddenly went quiet, the companion may circle back later, gently. It also knows when to leave you alone.
Why now
The pieces are converging.
Image and voice generation have crossed the threshold from parlor trick to feeling like an actual person. Short-form video is the final modality to land. And we’ve spent the last year on Adventures in Etiquette learning how to give generated characters warmth, tone, and a recognizable voice. Mosaic is what happens when you extend that — past a greeting card, into an ongoing relationship — and give it the memory to hold it together.
